Women’s History Month 2022

We take pride in celebrating the achievements, ideas, passion, and work that the women at Phyton Talent Advisors bring to our organization. Here at Phyton Talent Advisors, we are happy to celebrate our powerful female employees! Our celebration is our way of honoring our women team members and showcasing their empowerment by highlighting the brilliant work that our women colleagues do every day.
We asked some of our Phyton team members to nominate their fellow women colleagues and tell us why they inspire them. Check out what they have to say below, and thanks to everyone who participated!
Nominee: Vicky Levy
I would like to nominate Vicky Levy. She has been a saint since I first started here two years ago and has never wavered from that. She continues to be a powerhouse in terms of the business world (all while being a mother during a pandemic). One of her quotes is, “If you have 7 days to chop down a tree, spend the first 6 sharpening your axe.”
–
Vicky can best be compared to a duck. Paddling like crazy underwater but smooth sailing above water. Always prioritizing the best interests of the company first and the glue that pulls so much together.
Nominee: Casey Oliver
Ever since starting with Phyton almost a year ago, Casey has welcomed me with open arms. From the beginning, her and I were the only girls in the Charlotte office for a while & she made me feel like I always had someone to turn to for anything! She’s such a big help & role model for the ladies in our office!
Nominee: Eve Marte
Eve is one of the nicest most positive women I’ve ever met! She works in silence but does a bad ass job at everything she does! She’s such a good addition to the Charlotte office.
Nominee: ToniAnn Hawkins
Toni is one of my very best friends and I couldn’t be happier to have her working with us now in the Charlotte office! She’s got the most contagious laugh & it’s always a good time with her around. I’m so excited to see her success in this industry! Candidate + Clients are lucky to work with her!
Nominee: Shelby Healy
Sweet, Supportive, Quirky, Hard Working… all describes the Woman Shelby is! I feel like I’ve known her for years after just working together for a few months – Shelby is a girls girl & the way she roots for everyone around her is so inspiring and uplifting.. she’s a rock star!
Nominee: Leah Funke
Leah is the definition of fun. She’s a force to be reckoned with anywhere she goes & everyone who meets her can see the fire inside her! I can’t wait to continue to see the success Leah brings to Phyton & work along side her in the Charlotte office!
Nominee: Nicole Bambace
She’s always so positive, encouraging, and very engaging when she speaks.
–
I am inspired by Nicole’s thoughtful leadership at Phyton Talent. She drives success by her knowledge, commitment, integrity, and passion for the company and employees. The internal employee programs she has created at Phyton are connecting employees and empowering them to do their best.
Nominee: Vedanti G
Vedanti always helps me with all of my candidate’s onboarding, payroll, or any other issues that might come up, an amazing colleague to work with.
Nominee: Heather Notbohm
We speak every other week, and she has helped me come up with amazing ideas to attract new candidates for my open positions and she is always so encouraging as well.
–
Heather, for her collaboration skills in helping us source new hires and overall support of the success of our team (with no financial consideration).
–
I have never had a conversation with Heather where she wasn’t smiling and focused on the positive. She is the person who finds our people and because of that, she makes Phyton better. Heather genuinely cares about everyone in the Phyton family. She is insightful, dedicated and finds our best assets!
Nominee: Aprill Desimone
Aprill, for her being an accommodating and cheerful resource for literally any problem I have when my manager is unable to assist. She always answers in a timely manner, even when it doesn’t concern her.
Nominee: Christine Catalano
I think Christine Catalano makes a special contribution because she brings her best self and a great no-BS attitude on a daily basis. I am amazed at her speed and accuracy and her ability to collaborate with others. She is so fierce and multitasks like a queen.
Nominee: MaryAnn Fappiano
MaryAnn is on my team (Enterprise Sales) where she makes a tremendous contribution as a high performer in her role. Additionally, she has made special contributions to Phyton in and outside of her primary job function. She has participated as a mentor, onboarding buddy and has partnered with HR for DEI initiatives though out her time here.
Nominee: Therese Sturges
Selfless, kind and thoughtful, Therese always makes the feelings of others a priority. She is consistently an advocate for others if she feels they can’t be for themselves.
Nominee: Vicky McLaren
Vicky sets an amazing example of what women can accomplish in our business and in general. Her work ethic is unmatched…never settling for anything but the best for clients and colleagues. She is a friend, leader and mentor who refuses to accept anything less than the absolute best effort, every day. Her tenacity is admirable.
–
I would like to nominate Vicky McLaren. Vicky has gone above and beyond since the days of Linium. She is always quick to impart wisdom and help her team members advance their careers. Vicky often takes on multiple tasks and juggles her own responsibilities while steeping in to assist others. She has been an invaluable resource to our organization and her group for years. On top of all this, she is a wife and mother to three. She is an inspiration to working mothers and anyone wondering how someone manages boss life and home life!
Nominee: Sydnie Schuster
Calm, cool and collected, Sydnie always has it together. She makes recruiting look easy and rolls with the punches with a smile on her face. Sydnie’s drive and motivation is inspiring.
