Meet The Team – Shaun Sullivan

What do you do at Phyton Talent Advisors?

I partner with my clients to identify top level Talent in Technology and Finance. . .

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

I like to plan my day ahead of time. I tend to be most effective when I work in bursts and planning out that specific time helps a great deal.

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had, and what did you learn from it?

I worked in a lab once doing equipment sterilization. I did not hate the job but it made me realize that I needed to work in a field where I interact with people.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Linebacker for the New York Jets.

Who inspires you?

My family – I’m married with 5 kids – they are my why.

What’s something you’ve done, but will never do again?

I did a Polar Bear Plunge in the Chesapeake Bay in December. The water was 44 or 45 Degrees – never again!

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

Both – as you can imagine with 5 kids I don’t sleep all that much.

What are you passionate about?

Lacrosse. I played for years and now I coach. I started coaching a few years ago at one if the local Middle Schools. Now I have the opportunity to coach my son(s)

What’s your favorite movie?

The Quiet Man

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

To be able to be 2 places at once. . .That would make my life easier with 5 kids!

If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose?

That’s a tough question – I’d love to see things through the eyes of a master…See sheet music through the mind of Beethoven, a golf course through the eyes of Jack Nickaulaus, a curveball through the eyes of Babe Ruth, maybe a theme park through the eyes of Walt Disney… What do they see that you and I don’t?
