Commercial Loan Portfolio Credit Analyst
Global investment bank in Chicago requires a credit analyst to manage a large commercial loan portfolio by preparing comprehensive credit analyses, reviewing legal documentation, and on-going portfolio monitoring. The Analyst will prepare high quality credit applications and annual reviews of corporate counter-parties to assess their credit quality, recommending appropriate credit limits, terms and conditions. The analyst will be required to analyze client financial statements (P&L, BS, and CF), strategy, business risk, industry dynamics, and competitor/market research. Prepare financial forecasts, review legal documentation (i.e. credit agreements, Guaranty, ISDA, CSA) and propose changes, monitor covenant compliance and manage the Obligor risk rating approach. Keep an eye on counter-party credit risk thresholds and mitigate risk.
